Common patient questions
- What does “out-of-network for all insurance” mean?
- “Out-of-network” means that we can see you in the clinic but since we don’t have a contract with your insurance they may deny coverage for our services or they may cover them. It depends on your insurance policy whether they will cover out-of-network providers or how much of the appointment they will pay for. It might be a good idea to give your insurance a call to make sure what services are covered under your plan."
- Why is it so expensive?
- “Our provider chooses what he believes to be a fair fee schedule for the services provided.”
- What is NMT?
- "NMT uses a unique form of dynamic muscle response testing (also known as dynamic MRT) to train the mind-body toward the more valid and complete informational state required to release our natural capacity to heal. I can send you an email that has links to more information if you would like."
- Do I have to schedule a 1 hour New Patient session? Can I talk to the doctor first to get more info?
- "The NMT website contains videos and articles that help explain the NMT system and how it works. Prospective NMT patients typically want to know whether or not NMT will specifically be helpful for them and their particular health issues. To answer that question Dr. Feinberg schedules a first NMT session for you and performs a detailed NMT evaluation and analysis. Base on this information he is able to know whether NMT is likely to benefit you and he’ll recommend a treatment plan best suited to bring you to that desired outcome. So, the next step is to schedule that first evaluation with the doctor and get those questions answered for you."
