Setting Up Pins for Self Check-In

This article provides instructions for setting up a PIN for a patient to use during self check-in.

You can set up a PIN for your patients to use during self check-in.

1. Navigate to Patients.

2. Search for and select the patient’s profile.

3. Select the Overview tab.

4. Click the Demographics area.

5. Add the Self Check In PIN.

Note: The PIN can be any number of characters between 4 and 20, and it should be unique to the patient. The system will warn you if you are attempting to use a duplicate PIN.

6. Click SAVE.

Note: If the patient has a family relationship with one or more other patients, the system will ask you if you want to assign the PIN to all members of the family relationship. Click YES or NO to confirm.
