Scheduling a Single Appointment
This article covers how to add an appointment.
1. Navigate to Scheduling then to the Calendar tab.
2. Click ADD.
3. Select Add New Appointment.
4. Search for and select the patient’s name.
5. Enter the Provider and Location.
Note: Once you select the patient, the provider, and the location, a schedule preview will appear to the left to show you what is already on the schedule. Selecting a room will add that room’s availability to the schedule preview as well.
6. Add the Room (if applicable) and the Appointment Type
7. If there is a default case in the patient’s profile, it will auto-populate, but it can be changed here if necessary. If there is an authorization associated with the case, it will also auto-populate.
Note: If there is no case associated with the patient’s profile, or if you need to add a new one, click Add Case.
8. Choose whether to schedule the appointment by Date, Time, or Override options.
9. Select the date and time from the available options.
10. Click SCHEDULE.
